Mark Shapiro
Mark Shapiro is a second-generation fine art professional with more than 40 years of experience in galleries, art fairs, collector advising, artist development, fine art sales, and works on paper.
His career began in SoHo, New York City, in 1982 with Dyansen Galleries, a family gallery business with 17 locations throughout the United States and Japan.
Today, Mark works with artists, galleries, and exhibitors through Redwood Art Group and The Art Fair Advantage, helping art professionals present, document, promote, and sell their work with greater confidence.

The Art Fair Advantage is based on the way I have worked in the art business for more than 40 years — from galleries and auction houses to art fairs, artists, and sales strategy.
My goal is not to suggest there is only one right way to succeed. Instead, I share practical, real-world advice that artists and galleries can adapt to their own work, audience, and goals.
